Well thats half the truth, I've been to lazy to sign on and I've also been really really busy.
This last semester of school was horrible. I did an online school, which maybe works for some people. But I quickly found out that it does NOT work for me. I finished the semester. My grades more horrible then they have ever been and worst of all, it was not for lack of trying. I tried really hard last semester and worked more then ever, I was up till 1 in the morning until 3 in the morning trying to study and understand chemistry or geometry. Those being the two subjects that sucked for me. English was weird, the teacher never would write notes about my papers more then "grammatical errors," and, "interesting topic." Yeah, that didn't give me much to go off of. But I'm a writer, so my essays got me threw the semester with a B average. History was actually pretty good, a lot a lot a lot of reading, but ok. The computer class was interesting. Art history was unfortunantly boring. Anddd hmmm what were my other classs? I had 8 of them and I've only listed six. I don't even know what I'm forgetting haha :P
Well other then the online classes, I also had an art class with friday school, which was fun and interesting, but I could already do most of the things that we were learning which was a little disappointing.
Also my other class that I had was DRAMA! Which, as you might have noticed, made me very happy to be in once more. We did a one act play by Molier (adapted to exclude many of the...Molier inappropriateness) and preformed it here at the Studio and competed with it at the Texas Renaissance Festival.
Though we didn't place, the Ren Fair was so much fun and f-r-e-z-z-i-n-g! But it was a lot of fun and defiantly an experience. :) Well that was mid November I think.
Now that we've done that play, we've started rehearsing for the spring production. It's about a strike in New York. And the girls who stood up to fight against the system, many of them very young. Its a good play, really sad but its good and I think it'll be a good production. We're not too far into rehearsing yet, still got a lot to do, we're still on script and blocking, but we've got a bit of time left :)
Well of course December was insane. I turned 16. My brother turned 24. And my sister turned 22. My parents had their 25th anniversary, and my grandmas birthday passed. Along with all of that, there was of course, Christmas, and New years.
After finishing the first semester with the online school, my mom and I decided I couldn't do it for this semester. I need teachers in front of me and I need to be able to ask questions and get responses more then what page to look in the book, three days later. I'm taking Geometry and Chemistry at friday school and its a lot better. I'm still confused, trying to make up for last semester but its a lot better. :)
So thats kinda been my life lately, oh and of course hanging out with friends. Having the unavoidable high school drama (not the theatrical kind which is actually good, but the annoying high school kinda drama). And writing as much as I possibly can.
As far as writing goes, its unfortunate that I don't have more time, or have a computer that I can always use. When I can't use the computer, I'm stuck writing by hand, but I'll do that too. As long as I get the story down and eventually on the computer. I've been pretty happy with my story so far. I've actually written a whole lot and I'm at 73, 842 words and I'm not done yet. :) So, its long. And when I finish the draft, it will take forever to edit with the kind of perfectionist that I am. But it will get there, hopefully soon and I'm excited. It's a very staple story, and predictable, but I like it non the less and I've added enough extra spice :)
Oh and before I finish I've gotta say one more thing. Can you guess what it is? No? Haha well, its pretty beast.
IT SNOWED TODAY IN S.A!
